My Under Armour Race Kit // Coming Soon!

Woohoo!  Its been in the works for a while. After numerous fittings and revisions of the custom pattern of the swimsuit, tri top and tri shorts, all is awesome.  I'm picky about only a few things and my training and racing gear is one of them!  I needed fabulous fabric, a comfortable cut and super support, and that's what I got.  Worked with Under Armour creatives on the design, layout and colors to top things off.  I'm stoked to say it should be ready before my first race on May 2:  The Loews Lake Las Vegas XTERRA West Cup.

Under Armour Tri Gear + Running Shoes: JAN 31st!

"Any word when Under Armour will start selling their tri gear?  I know a lot of people are curious."

After inquiring from them myself, it turns out:

The "MACCA LIMITED" -  a LIMITED EDITION replica of Chris McCormack's race kit - will release in run specialty stores and on the Under Armour website on January 31, 2009.

And only 600 of them - FYI.

Under Armour's latest innovation:  RUNNING SHOES! 

I've been running in a pair on and off since August and they've been great.   Running groups around the country have also had the opportunity run in them as part of Under Armour's R + D.    They put a lot into this product and it shows.  I'll follow up with more info on the specs of the shoes between now and the launch.  I'll be curious to know what you think!
