First, sorry for the delay in posting new blogs! (Be sure to check out Twitter and Facebook for more daily-type updates.) I've been all over the place.
Last week I joined the Under Armour crew in Tampa at the NFL Experience to work with tons of kids and adults on their speed, agility and strength AND for the launch of their running shoes on 1.31.09. Photos are up on Facebook.
This week I'm wearing my video producer hat. Have location scouting to do today for a big shoot this Wednesday and Thursday for Saris Cycling. Training-wise I have two training sessions scheduled at Fitness Quest 10 and otherwise hope to squeeze in some swim, bike and run at some point but...we'll see!
Finally, thanks to Kevin Patrick Allen at Endurance Planet for the podcast interview! I appreciate the way it was produced. I think it helps clarify the info even further.
On his website he writes:
"Is it possible to be an elite and not truly be athletic? Jessi
Stensland can answer that question with an unequivocal, "yes." In the
past two years the professional triathlete has come to embrace
functional training and is now preaching the values of balance,
strength, and flexibility. Being fit overall, she says, has benefits
which go far beyond your particular sport. Today on Endurance Planet we
hear about Jessi's transformation and what you can learn from it."
